~ Having graduated from the School of Hotel and Catering Management, Mara Institute of Technology in 1988, and received a Diploma in Chef Training upon graduation. From then onwards, he has been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years and has served several international brands, such as The Hyatt, Hilton, and local brand (in Malaysia) namely Pelangi Beach Resort Langkawi, Swiss Garden Resort & SPA Kuantan, Bukit Merah Lake Town Resort, MiCasa Johor Bahru .Mohd Faizal has been a keen culinary competitor for over 18 years and has competed in various domestic and international competition. He participated in several international culinary competitions where he won several medals .His achievement include being awarded champion in 3rd Salon Gastronomique in Penang 1991, the first gold medal for the hotel team in Buffet Platter, Food & Hotel Asia, Singapore 1992, bronze medal and again another bronze medal in buffet platter and cold display in 4th Salon Gastronomique, Penang.
